Expatriate Workers' Tax Advice

This optional tax system applies to those individuals who are not residents, and due to an employment contract have had to move to Spanish territory and acquire the status of tax residents in Spain.

This means paying taxes under the rules set out under the Income Tax Non resident (IRNR) return during the tax period in which the change of residency occurs along with the subsequent five years.
