Power of Attorney
The act by means of which a person confers to a third party their legal representation in order to carry out all actions that have been conferred to the third party.
A power of attorney can be used by any physical or juristic person, normally our lawyers, so that we can act in the clients name in determined areas that shall be recollected in the afore mentioned public document. The power of attorney can be granted as a special power of attorney for one determined function, such as the purchase of a property with a determined date, it can also be granted for any proceedings or management in any field (fiscal representation, banking, tax related, court proceeding, commerce) during an undetermined or determined period of time. This power of attorney would be a general power of attorney.
Once the client has consulted our lawyers, they shall decide which kind of power of attorney shall be the most adequate to realise the work entrusted. The power of attorney shall consist in an authorisation on behalf of our clients in order to enable them to carryout and execute determined legal and material acts.
In order to facilitate the process, only the grantor of the power of attorney shall need to sign the document, it is exclusively unilateral; the receiver does not need to accept.
For your security the power of attorney can be revoked at any time via another public deeds, also without the necessity of the receivers confirmation. These powers of attorney shall be deposited in the notary archive of revoked powers of attorney.
